Lent Course

As we approach the season of Lent, the forty days before Easter Sunday and remember Jesus’ preparation for his earthly ministry, it also offers us, the chances to do something Jesus did himself – to spending time apart from the world and alone with his Father God. Therefore Lent is an opportunity for us to take time away from the world and focus on your individual and collective relationship with God.

This Lent we will once again be using ‘Come and See’ a resource offered by the Diocese of Oxford, this time looking at the profound, wonderful meal at the centre of our Christian faith – the Eucharist. If you would like to join us (CHW Churches) as we journey through the lenten season, please sign up via our website or sign up sheets in all the Churches in our united benefice of CHW Churches.
